The key is trying to avoid over-complicated designs, by provision of the fundamental engineering principles that are proven and tested.

Good design means delivering solutions that are cost-effective, use materials efficiently, require the least energy to run and are easy to operate and maintain throughout the buildings life-cycle. In all cases to ultimately combine this with creative environments that are well-used, well-loved and comfortable to promote occupancy wellbeing and productivity.
