MICHAEL LOUGHLIN

I began my career at NOVO after completing my degree in BEng Building Services Engineering in June 2019. My ambition is to learn and develop my skills so I can progress to a senior level, working independently on a variety of projects and eventually become chartered.

 

My position involves working alongside the senior mechanical design team in the production of heating, cooling, domestic water, ventilation and drainage services. I undertake thermal modelling and sun path analysis to assess building performance using latest software. I have a keen interest within sustainable, low-carbon design so I would like to develop my knowledge of cutting edge technologies and innovative solutions in reducing environmental impact. This interest could be developed through further education in the future.

 

In my spare time I enjoy being active which includes playing football, running, travelling and spending time in the dales.
