Sedbergh Leisure Centre is a £17.5 million development which forms part of the Council’s £28 million scheme to improve leisure facilities in the Bradford District.

Opening in September 2019, the sports centre is currently being built on the former Sedbergh playing fields site between Cleckheaton Road and Huddersfield Road in Odsal.

The purpose-built leisure centre will include a 25m six-lane heated swimming pool, 80-station gym space, dance studios, café and viewing areas, changing facilities, indoor sports courts and outdoor pitches for rugby and football. In addition, there will be an activity pool installed with a moveable floor – allowing the depth of the pool to be altered for various groups, from toddlers to the elderly.

NOVO have been appointed to join the expert design team alongside Darnton B3, Rex Procter & Partners, T Clarke, ISG and Furness Partnership, to provide Mechanical and Electrical design and consultancy services.
