The Midway House Post Office has been shortlisted for the CIBSE Building Performance Awards 2018, with CBRE nominated for the prestigious Facilities Management Team award.
This will be the eleventh annual award ceremony dedicated to recognising and celebrating the people, products and projects that demonstrate ‘engineering excellence in the built environment’. The winners are to be announced at the Building Performance Awards Ceremony on 6th February 2018, tickets are available on the CIBSE website.
The Post Office underwent refurbishments to create and accommodate a new coin sorting area within the building. CBRE appointed NOVO to provide mechanical and electrical consultancy regarding the ventilation, drainage and power of the new coin sorting room, as well as for the new compressor room. This provided CBRE with the necessary tools to ensure cost certainty to the client.
